Nobel Prize - Physics - 07 Oct 08Mazal tov to American Yoichiro Nambu, 87, of the University of Chicago. Professor Nambu shared the honor with two Japanese physicists Makoto Kobayashi and Toshihide Maskawa for discovering the origin of the broken symmetry that predicts the existence of at least three families of quarks in nature. Subatomic physics. So good. Sometimes small is better.
