Bucky Done Proud.
Friday, February 27th, 2009WGBH’s Design Squad “Trash to Treasure” design contest. Max Wallack a Natick resident, slayed the competition with his “Home Dome”. A shelter for the homeless made from plastic, wire and packing peanuts based of Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome. His solution fits the need of the homeless and a greener life with the recycled materials. Max walked away with $10 g’s, a Dell laptop and a trip Continuum in Boston to create a prototype.
