Today May 10 2010, (1985 in the movie) Chris Knight (Val Kilmer) solves the power issue shortly after a meltdown at the lab. Exceeding the 5 megawatts requested by Professor Hathaway (Sci-fi Comedy extraordinaire William Atherton), Knight’s solution using bromide is hotter than the sun.
